PrevENt ArmourCool Granular TP-HD fire rated cap sheet is constructed with a tough composite reinforcement of non-woven polyester strengthened with a glass fiber scrim in both machine and cross directions. This composite reinforcement gives the sheet excellent dimensional stability as well as superior stress tolerance for the most demanding building requirements.

Fully-Adhered Roofing Systems
PrevENt ArmourCool Granular TP-HD is coated with select SBS polymers and premium asphalt to a finished thickness of 4.0 mm (158 mils). Reflective white ceramic coated mineral granules are embedded in the surface of the product to provide protection against ultraviolet radiation. A light micro-perforated film is bonded to the underside and conveniently disappears upon heat welding. During the manufacturing process, expandable graphite is added above the reinforcement to impart excellent exterior fire resistance properties. Class A fire rated PrevENt ArmourCool Granular TP-HD can be used as either a protective cap for a conventional BUR system or as the top ply in a two-ply modified system.
